This week’s top tip from the Powder Lounge is all about how to deal with puffy, overworked eyes. And this doesn’t involve seven different serums. It’s involves using your makeup cleverly, and the classic art of diversion!
- Avoid using mascara or eyeliner on the lower lashes if your eyes are looking tired as this will create shadows and emphasise any puffiness.
- If you have puffiness underneath the eyes, try not to use a highlighter or concealer lighter than the skin on the cheeks or chin as this will emphasise the puffiness even more.
- To draw attention away from under-eye puffiness, wearing false eyelashes or having semi-permanent lash extensions on the upper lashes is
a great way to bring people’s attention to the upper as opposed to the lower lashes.

Totally agree, I’ve always wondered at concealer which just seems to make my tired eyes look worse.

Anytime I’ve had puffy eyes (espesh after a nite out) I’ve overloaded the concealer hoping they would go away. Obviously it never worked and now I know why! Thanks Powder Lounge for the tips x
